Scientists Just Detected A Huge Neutron Star!

Future Space

Astronomers have discovered the heaviest neutron star yet discovered. It is a dense, collapsing star that is spinning 707 times per second and has absorbed nearly all of the mass of its stellar companion. Due to this process, the dense star has become the largest neutron star ever recorded. It is one of the most rapidly rotating neutron stars in the Milky Way.
