X8! Extremely active sunspot blasts biggest solar flare of 2026
Sunpsot AR4366 has been very active with several flares recorded on Feb. 1, 2026, the biggest of them being an X8.3-class solar flare. NOAA’s GOES-17 satellite captured the fireworks. Credit to : VideoFromSpace
