Scientists Just Created Fusion Fuel From Nuclear Waste

Scientists at Los Alamos National Laboratory have developed an accelerator-driven system that converts nuclear waste into tritium fuel for fusion reactors. This method uses high-energy proton beams to induce spallation reactions, producing neutrons that interact with molten lithium salt to generate tritium efficiently and safely.
